2 - We will review your Questionnaire and ask you questions about your license request.
3 - Upon your reply, we will send you a Quote and Draft License Agreement.

PRICING

Application License:
For app developers to embed x264 into a client. We charge on average less then $1.00 USD per unit with a required minimum of 5,000 to 10,000 units. For 10,000 units or higher, we will provide you a tiered quote based on your Questionnaire.

Professional License:
For developers to add x264 into low volume, high unit cost applications. Per unit pricing varies based on the unit cost and the shipped totals.

Server License:
For developers to relay content from a client to a back-end encoding server. Per unit pricing varies based on the expected clients to be served.

LAN License:
For LAN only encoding services (Server farm, Archive, LAN services). On average we charge about $100 per CPU for a LAN / Server license and require a minimum of 50 units (or more depending on your market).

Cloud License:
For developers to add Cloud based encoding services or VM Clients. Examples: VM/Web Browser based encoding that runs on hosted service encoding like Amazon AWS, VM's servers, or Clients running in the Cloud. Per unit fees will vary based on the total number of units, price of each and how encoding is used (primary or added value feature).

Royalty Free License:
For high volume customers we offer a one time 'paid in full' royalty free option. Contact us so we can provide you with a quote.

Premium Options
We offer premium H.264 encoding options that are not included in our standard license. These features are for customers looking to add support for: MVC 3D, Profile 4:2:2, Profile 4:4:4 and 10-bit Encoding. Contact us so we can provide you with a quote.
